Barbacks for the 2002-05 BMW K1200GT

Our friends at American Machine deliver an impressive product with these precision machined 40mm barbacks for your 2002-2005 BMW K1200GT. AmMa has added a 8-10 degree grip angle change to this kit, meaning your bars will be more parallel to the ground for riding comfort.
Install may or may not be relatively painless. The good news is, on 98% of the GT's out there, no changes to brake or clutch lines are necessary. Have seen only a handful that needed a longer brake line.

The early model GT's had RS length cables. The American Machine K1200GT Barbacks will bolt on to these bikes with ZERO probs... ZERO mods...and ZERO mechanical skills.

Note:. Maybe 1 in 200 late model first generation GT's have shorter cables. If you have one of these later bikes ...both stock throttle cables have to be removed from twist grip then lead over triple clamp and reconnected. (see pics below) No bodywork needs be removed. I mention this reluctantly because it's as rare as a bag of Acapulco Gold.
